Final Post

Here we are - coming to the end of a journey.

I think it's a good time to reflect.

So - it's been nearly a month. If you haven't been able to find the quantum shift, I've relocated the blog. As this is an edit, and not a new post, I believe I still haven't broken the final post. So click on the picture to the right (your left), or the hyperlink above "good time" and you will be transported to http://eskimoboblives.blogspot.com

I don't care what New Year's resolutions you've got up your sleeves. Dance for me!

So tonight is the big change. Some will be gathering at home parties, others will be outside waiting for midnight to strike, and watch the fireworks and kiss random people.

Then everyone will start to sing the first line of Auld Lang Syne. Followed by humming and hugging. It's embarrassing to not know the words - then you feel like a reject contestant from American Idol, but so bad that they don't even show you on television, just forgettable. So to stave that off and to get 2009 off to a good step, and the last year of the first decade here are the lyrics to that one song.

Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and old times since ?

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

And surely you’ll buy your pint cup!
And surely I’ll buy mine!
And we'll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

We two have run about the slopes,
and picked the daisies fine;
But we’ve wandered many a weary foot,
since auld lang syne.

We two have paddled in the stream,
from morning sun till dine;
But seas between us broad have roared
since auld lang syne.

And there’s a hand my trusty friend!
And give us a hand o’ thine!
And we’ll take a right good-will draught,
for auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

What was the name of that site you suggested for spyware removal?

Did you catch something from your South American liason? Spyware Doctor is what I use, and you can also use Crap Cleaner to keep the computer running smoothly.

I'm pretty sure I can't afford a trip to Alaska any time soon. Thanks for the idea though.

And yeah...the whole "fruit" comment is true; I'm PICKY when it comes to fruit. I love most veggies, but a LOT of fruit grosses me out. So a LOT of the foods I'll be trying will be fruit. Just to see what it's all about...

I'm certain I'd comment more on your blog if you posted more frequently...

Sweet innocent Gina - not everything is at it seems. Explore a bit, and find out the wonders of my world, it will affect you as it has me.

OK, Bob. Where the hell are you?!
Pearl
p.s. Thanks for the cold air. Minnesota is not even reaching 0 this week and I blame Alaska. :-)

Hey, Bob, what's up with your private, invitation only blog? I don't do those.
